ALPHA EVO USB Quick Release (QR-A)
The QR-A quick release enables USB passthrough from 3rd party wheels.
The QR-A allows you to plug in 3rd party steering wheels that use a USB-A cable that would normally go to the PC.
If you use a USB wheel and are currently trailing a cable directly from the wheel to the PC you run a higher risk of damaging the cable over time, having the cable pulled out if under tension, or simply having more wire clutter in your setup.
The QR-A enables you to plug your USB cable that comes from the wheel, into the quick release. Then a USB cable will go from the EVO wheelbase to your PC.
There is also a cable passthrough slot, in case your wheel's USB output comes from the centre of the wheel (where the shaft is), allowing you to pass the cable through the housing.
Compatible Wheel Bases
The QR-A is compatible with Alpha EVO Sport, Alpha EVO and Alpha EVO Pro wheelbases.
Mounting: Supports 50mm or 70mm wheel / wheel hub mounting patterns.
